She posed for Playboy and Perfect 10 magazine, partied with Hugh Hefner and created what she thought was a glamorous life. It all came at a cost.

When she was 26 years old, well into her acting career, she spiraled into a full-blown non-functioning alcoholic; destroying all of her relationships and her career. After surviving many tussles with death, including a brain hemorrhage in 2013, she was finally able to overcome her addiction; fully embracing a life of forgiveness, gratitude, love and sobriety.

Turning her life around, she made it her mission to end the stigma and shame that surround addiction and help those still struggling. She opened up about her past on social media and quickly became known for her inspiring story of redemption. Her harrowing journey has since been published in news outlets across the globe: The Daily Mail, Fox News, Yahoo, The Sun, The Mirror, LAD Bible, Popculture, Blast and Newsweek. She is now a Writer, Student at the HeartMath Institute, Certified HeartMath Resilience Recovery Coach, Speaker and new Mom. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her fiancé and 9 month old baby boy. She has recently finished writing her memoir, HUMAN ON FIRE.

“Self-worth does not come from attention, money or things; it can only build on actions of love and service to others. As long as you have life, you have hope. No matter how bad it is or how low you think you are, it is always possible to turn it all around. If I can get sober, anyone can.”

“ I used comedy to numb, like a lot of comedians do. I hadn’t yet discovered that it could heal. ”
